ADHD medication initiation (with a foreign diagnosis)
If you have already been diagnosed with ADHD outside of Denmark, you do not need to go through a full reassessment. You can initiate or continue your medical treatment directly with me. I help bridge the gap so you can safely access and manage your ADHD medication under Danish medical guidelines.
How to book
Booking your medication initiation session is simple and done directly through the website:
1. Go to the booking section on this website
2. Select Initial Consultation (Opstartssamtale)
3. Write “medication” in the comments field
What happens at the first session
The first session lasts 60 minutes. It focuses on your physical and mental health, present symptoms, and checks for possible co-existing conditions.
It ends with a prescription for our decided medication, in accordance with the Danish guidelines for ADHD medication.
This first session costs 3,000 kr.
The follow-up period
Once treatment begins, the follow-up period starts. You will need to check in with me about once a month, until you have been stable for a period of at least three months. After that, you will be referred back to your GP.
